【Abstract】 The dynamics and distribution of 125I-labelled Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP) were investigated.Our data indicate that the half time of the distribution phase of 125I-BNP in plasma is 3.33 ± 0.73minutes and that of the clearance phase from plasma is 232.8±22.3 minutes.The 125I-BNP content in various tissues were in the following order (from high to low): (1) 3 min after injection: Lung, kidney, adrenal gland, liver, ovary, spleen, atrium and aorta; (2) 100min after injection: Kidney, lung, adrenal gland, liver, ovary, spleen, atrium and aorta.
