【Abstract】 The relationship between antepartum assessments of amniotic fluid volume and the outcome of pregnancy were studied in 333 cases of greater than 41 weeks gestation. The incidence of postmaturity was found to be significantly increased as the amniotic fluid volume decreased. No marked change was found in the rate of low Apgar scores. The rate of neonatal asphyxia was 5.1%; the perinatal mortality rate was 9‰。The results of the study showed that sonographic estimation of amniotic fluid volume can be used as a reliable means of predicting placental function in the management of postdate pregnancy. A scheme for clinical management of varying amniotic fluid volumes is discussed.更多还原
