【Abstract】 By using the flooding capacity factor, an accurate and convenient correlation for calculating the flooding velocity in a randomly packed column is proposed. The results of verification with 17 species of packings indicated that the calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental data. The present correlation is applicable to calculate the flooding velocity without using the trial and error method.更多还原
