【Abstract】 Pinch point technology, proposed by B. Linnhoff, was used for analysis and evaluation of the heat exchanger network in a 60, 000 t/a styrene plant, which involves about 50 heat exchangers. According to the results, two suggestions for adjusting the network were proposed. 4.18 t/h high pressure steam and 48 t/h cooling water can be saved by the suggested measures. Finally, the method of determining the minimum temperature difference for heat exchanger network was discussed.更多还原
