【Abstract】 A spectrophotometric method based on the catalytic effect of manganese (Ⅱ) on the oxidation(decolouration) of Malachite Green by potassium peri-odate in the presence of 1,10 phenanthroline as activator is developed to de-termine the amount of manganese. The reaction can be inhibited and stopped by sodium hexametaphosphate. Both the sensitivity and selectivity are satis-factory.更多还原
