【Abstract】 Pregelatinized starch(a starch) additive is used very popularly in foundries of foreign countries for many years.But less at home.Effects of several pregelatinized starch products from abroad, demestic and made in our own laboratory on properties of moulding materials were studied in detail. The results show that pregelatinized starch improves the stripping property, anti-friability,anti-erosion and anti-scabbing properties of molding sand,and therefore improve the quality of green sand castings.更多还原
