【Abstract】 A case-control study of 241 stomach cancer cases histologically verified with an equalnumber of non-cancer controls matched by age, sex, and area of residence was studiedduring 1984-1986 in Heilonjiang province. Questions asked covered economic status,occupation, smoking history, alcohol drinking, and consumption of diet and so on. For theanalysis, multiple logistic regression methods were used. Study finding showed: (1) aninverse association between the consumption of green vegetables and stomach cancer; (2)less green vegetable intake, alcohol drinking and smoking were found to be the main riskfactors of gastric cancer; (3)alcohol drinking is more important than smoking as riskfactors; (4) avoidance of smoking and alcohol drinking is the main measures for control-ling stomach cancer in Heilongjing area.更多还原
