Spontaneous diabetic KK mice were introduced from Japan and modified single-line breeding system used to maintain the stock. Breeding experiment showed that the average number of newborns was 5,6±1,8 and average BW after weaning, 7.2±1.5g. The growth curve and genetic profile of KK mice were discribed.
