【Abstract】 Here is put forward a concept of the stress concentration and stress spreading in the sawtooth root; the stress concentration coefficient and stre- ess spreading coefficient in the root nave relations only to relative radius of root arc, while are out of direct relations to the rake angle of the tooth under con- dition of certain apex angle on the basis of this law is given a principle of arrangement for better parameters of tooth profile, with which the sawtooth root may be in a preferable stress state更多还原
