【Abstract】 The procedure of mass production of test-tube seedlings of seedless watermelon clonesis as follows: 1) Rapid propagation of adventitious buds by tissue culture. 2) Rapid propagation of adventitious buds to be used as scions by water culture. 3) Mass productjon of grafted watermelon seedlings for sale. The root stock was di-sease resistant. From 1985 to 1987, a total of 37.9 ha.of triploid seedless watermelon were raisedfrom these grafted seedlings with a net profit of 16972.5 ha. The crop was vigorous, resis-tant to root diseases and high yield with very good quality of the seedless watermelon.更多还原
