【Abstract】 Diagnosis of enzootic abortion in yak on farms in Tianjun County, Qinghai Province was reported. In 1985, 155 serum samples of yak after aborting or calving were collected, of which 45 sera were positive in complement fixation test. Chlamydozoans were found in 8 of the 13 samples from aborted yaks cultured in chicken embryo yolks, with the representative strains identified as Chlamydia psittaci, which propagated well in FL and BHK21 cells and its inclusion bodies formed nearby the nucleus. After infected experimently with the agents, 75% yaks in later gestation gave abortion.更多还原
