【Abstract】 This article reports the change in the serumal LDH& LDH isoenzymesin 28 patients with esophageal cancer and 6 patients with cancer of thegastric cardia. Significant elevation of total LDH activity was seen in75% of the 28 patients with esophageal cancer and in all of the 6 pa-tients with carcinoma of the gastric cardia. Characteristic of the changein LDH isoenzyme Pattern was the significant elevation of LDH 4 andLDH-5, with 85.71% of the LDH-4 elevation& 78.57% of LDH-5 riseSeen in the 28 cases of esophageal Cancer. As for the 6 cases of Cancerof the gastric cardia, all had elevation of LDH 4 and LDH-5. The degreeof elevation was correlated to that of oncogenesis. Thus, the change ofserumal LDH and LDH isoenzymes may be used as reference data in thedia gnosis and treatment of the two kinds of malignancies.更多还原
