【摘要】 池鹭Ardeola bacchus约于每年4月23日到达浙江安吉西亩林场。4月底开始营巢,巢平均距地高5.36m,营巢4～5天。5月上旬开始产卵,每窝3～6枚卵,平均4.2枚。卵径为43.6×33.7mm,最大为47×37mm,最小为39×30mm。卵重18.55g(16～20.8g),隔日产卵为主,产卵期约6～9天。双亲孵卵,雌鸟孵卵时间占64.9％,雄鸟为25.1％,空巢晾卵为10％。 5月底、6月初孵出雏鸟,雏鸟均重13.84g,30～31日龄后离巢。第二窝于7月底孵出幼雏,年繁殖力3.21只/对。9月下旬迁离,居留期约152天。文中对食性、觉醒亮度、鸣叫频率和鸟粪成份进行了精确分析,探讨了池鹭种群与林业经营的关系。更多还原

【Abstract】 The breeding biology and ecology of the pond heron (Ardeola bacchus) were studied at Ximu, Zhejiang Province, from April to September of 1984～1986. Conclusions are as follows:1. At Ximu Forest Farm, the pond heron arrives at the end of April, and remaines until the end of September. It stays for about 152 days.2. Nest-building is carried out by the female and male in the beginning of May. It takes 4～5 days to complete. The position of nests is quite near the top of trees, and averages 5.36±0.22m in height above the ground. The nest external diameter is 31.66±1.08cm, internal diameter 17.28±0.815cm, and depth 5.69±0.56cm.3. The pond heron lays an egg every day. A cluth consists of 3～6, generally 4 eggs (47.2%). Thirty-three eggs average 43.6×33.7mm in size and 18.55±0.24g in weight. The eggs are oval in shape, light blue in color.4. The incubation period lasts 20～30 days. The incubation of eggs and the feeding of nestling are carried out mainly by female. The feeding of nestling occured more frequently at 6:00～10:00 and 13:00～6:00 every day. The period of feeding lasted 30 days. The average number of surviving nestling is 3.21 per pair of adults.5. The growth of nestling was studied from 0.5 to 11 days with the measure ment of body, beak, wing, tarsus and middle toes.6. The food taken by the young consists entirely of animals.7. The results of analysis of birds excrement are as follows: N, 1.49; P, 4.33; K, 0.41; and Ca, 7.94. Ardeola bacchus is beneficial bird of forest.更多还原
