【Abstract】 Adenohypophyseal cells from adult male rats were dispersed and precultured for 1 day, then sertoli cells were added and cultured together for 3 days. It was found that the concentration of FSH in the co-cultured medium was significantly lower than that of adenohypophyseal cells cultured separately.These results suggested that a substance was produced by the sertoli cells which inhibited FSH secretion in vitro by acting directly on anterior pituitary cells. The FSH secretion of the pituitary cells was not affected by 1.8x 10-13-9.2X 10-13 M estradiol. The FSH concentration in the medium of separately cultured pituitary cells increased significantly when 1.7X 10-10-6.9X10-10 M testosterone was added.更多还原
