【Abstract】 Some design principles of inlet channel with low head loss for improving the efficiency of the waterjet propulsor are presented in this paper. Three models were tested in a wind tunnel. Two of them were designed according to these principles for a certain craft, the other was the model of the original inlet channel of that craft. The test results showed that the head losses of the inlet channels designed by the author were much lower than that of the original inlet channel, and some other performance characteristics of the first two were also improved and thus the propulsive efficiency of the craft with the new designed inlet channel can be greatly increased.更多还原
