计算兴波阻力Dawson方法的数值改进及实用化发展
A NUMERICALLY MODIFIED DAWSON’ SMETHOD FOR COMPUTING SHIP-WAVEPROBLEMS AND ITS APPLICATIONS
【摘要】 本文对Dawson方法在数值计算方法上作了改进,将Dawson采用的自由面源强和物面源强联立求解改进为分别求物面上的源强和自由面上源强,两者反复迭代,满足各自的边界条件,从而节约了计算时间和内存,使程序能在实际工程中应用。 本文为使程序实用化,还在初始数据准备和计算结果后处理方面作了努力。编制的若干绘图程序,能迅速而准确地绘制波型(二维、三维)、阻力、压力分布、升沉、纵倾等曲线,为计算机辅助船舶设计作了必要的基础工作,并能为试验数据处理和其它领域服务。 用本文数值改进后的Dawson方法计算了Wigley数学船型和Series 60船型,与试验数据、Dawson、Gadd等人和Mori等人的计算结果相比较,表明作者所作的改进是有意义的。
【Abstract】 The Dawson’s method for computing ship-wave problems, which uses a Rankine source distribution over the body surface and a local portion of the undisturbed free surface, is modified in this paper. The source densities are determined by boundary conditions on the hull surface and the free surface, and the free surface condition is linearized in terms of the double model flow and approximated by an one-sided upstream finite difference operator. The authors used an iterative method for body surface sources and free surface sources instead of the method for solving a system of equations as used by Dawson. The present method can reduce CPU time and memory storages.The authors have done some work in reducing the preparations of input data and programming of graphics programs, wave patterns (2-di-mensional and 3-dimensional), curves of resistance, sink and trim, pressure distribution can be plotted quickly and accurately. The present work may be used for computer aided ship-design and experiment data processing.A FORTRAN program (BSFS) has been applied to a wigley model and a Series 60 hull form ship. Calculated results were very close to those of Dawson, and also in coincidence with experiment.
