【Abstract】 An analytical solution in the far field is obtained for the second-order radiation potential of an axisymmetric body in heaving motion. From this an expression was put forward for second-order radiation condition in the far field for thret-dimensional problem. This paper alsogives a numerical method-simple Green’s function technique -forcalculating the second-order radiation potential in the inner region. As an example, the numerical results of stcond-order radiation potentials and Vertical forces are given for a circular cylinder heaving in the free surface.更多还原
