【Abstract】 Forty-seven cases of primary heratic carcinoma diagncsed on cytological basis in this series were analysed. A comparison between cytological pattern and the results of various supplementary examinations was made. All the cases that gave positive result in supplementary examinations were also positive cytologically. On the other hand, the great majority of cases which reacted negatively in supplementary examinations also gave positive result cytologically. Thus, the positive rate of cytologic study was 98%, This far exceeded that of other kinds of diagnostic procedures. The appearence of cancerous giant cells as well as the deposit of bile pigment and inclusion bodies within the cytoplasma of cancer cells provided some valuable leads for diagncsis of primary heratic carcinoma. The well diffentiated tumor cells as a rule arranged in patches while the undifferentiated ones in compact lumps.更多还原
