【Abstract】 Power modulation of HVDC systems can improve the damping of osoillation in AC/DC power systems, and unified modulation of active and reactive power of HVDC system can result in better improvement of system damping. A new AC/DC multimachine power system analysis model is introduced and used to analyse the damping behaviour of AC/DC power systems.
