【Abstract】 This report informs the results of ten years’ study ( 1977-1986 ) on ’Golden Delicous’apple fruit russet. Russet on’Golden Delicious’ apple fruit skin was found to form during fifty to fifty-five days follow-ing the blooming period. Experiments revealed that rainfall and change of temperature were predominant factors that induced russet forma-tion, whereas bagging and application of silicon preparations were ound significantly effective means for protection. In addition, this article rep-resents some of the mechanism of russet formation the basis of our study.更多还原
