【Abstract】 Constrictive pericarditis was surgically treated in 145 patients.The chief cause of thedisease was tuberculosis.Pericardiectomy should be indicated as soon as the diagnosis wasascertained.Left anterolateral costal incision with transverse sternotomy was the preferablechoice.Loosening of the left,right ventricles and the outflow traet during pericardiectomywas important.The constrictive ring around the inferior vena should be released if it waspresent,whenever the condition allowed.更多还原
