【Abstract】 This paper is intended to describe the study of chemical composition of materials recovered from Ixiolirion tataricum herb. with petroleum ether in Xinjiang area. Using capillary gas chromatography and GC/MS, the 30 components have been identified: α-thujene, β-phellandrene, 3-carene,β-pinene, cumaldehyde, safranal, dodecyl alcohol, tetracosane, pentacosane, hexacosane, heptacosane and octacosane ect.
