【Abstract】 In order to develop a simple, accurate, reliable and rapid method for the determination of nodularity and vermicularity of cast irons, the authers investigated the characteristics of oxygen dissolved in modified cast iron melt based’on the principle of oxygen concentration cell. As a result, the cause of the inacuracy of nodularity determined from oxygen activity has been found out and the close relationship between the nodularity and the oxygen potential is realized. According which a method for determining nodularity with sufficient accuracy from oxygen potential is developed.更多还原
