【Abstract】 :The coverage velocity is an extremely important parameter in the inter-pretation of shallow refraction wave exploration data. This paper presents a newmethod for calculating coverage velocity which takes into account data of dril-ling depth, and gives a rather detailed discussion on the precision and stabilityof this method.
