产碱菌属的一个新种
A NEW SPECIES OF ALCALIGENES
【摘要】 从土样中分离得到编号为E54的革兰氏阴性短杆菌。其形态、生理生化特性与假单胞菌属及产碱菌属的近似种均不相同。该菌株无鞭毛,无PHB颗粒形成。氧化酶阳性,氧化葡萄糖产酸,还原硝酸盐但无反硝化作用。产生精氨酸双水解酶,但不产生脲酶和色氨酸脱氨酶。石蕊牛奶产碱并还原。不水解淀粉和明胶。能利用多种碳源。DNA中G+C含量为68.65mol%。DNA-DNA杂交结果与产碱菌属更接近。因此,将其定为新种,命名为产酮产碱菌(Alcalige nes kotogenes sp. nov. Yin et Cai)。
【Abstract】 Strain E54 isolated from soil is gramnegative coccal rods. It differs from related species of Pseudomonas, Alcaligenes in morphological, physiological and biochemical characteristics. Main characteristics of strain E54 are non-flagelled, oxidase positive, nitrate reduced but not denitrified, arginine dihydrolase positive but no urease and tryptophan deaminase, litmus milk alkaline and reduced, starch and gelatin not hydrolyzed. Utilizes glucose, fructose, galactose, ribose, xylose, arginine and 2,3-butanediol et al. as carbon sources; but do not use mannose, lactose, sucrose, starch, sorbose, betaine, malonate, acetate, propionate et al. G+C content of DNA is 68.65 mol% (Tin). By the DNADNA hybridization expriments in vitro, this strain is closed to Alcaligenes. Thus we consides this strain as a new species of Alcaligenes. On the base of production of 2-keto-D-gluconic acid, it is named as Alcaligenes ketogenes sp. nov. Yin et Cai.
