【Abstract】 How to completely separate more and better microfossils from the country rock without any damage is a problem that has attracted much attention of micropalaeontological workers. The present paper gives a considerably comprehensive accqunt on the methods of microfossil preparation and process of manipulation adopted and tried out by the writers, involving various problems on methods and techniques, especially on the crushing, loosening, washing and choosing of rock samples and preservation of fossils from detrital core materials. Some of these methods are proved to be practical, while others have to be improved.更多还原
