【Abstract】 In this paper, the history of the geophysical work in searching for oil/gas in Jiangsu Province was retrospected systematically, experiences and lessons from the recent thirty years were summed up in an allround way. Especially the experiences of putting the geophysical work into practice first, then, making it spread out according to the results achieved and tackling the key problems in the nick of time while they are in emergence were carefully summed up and special emphasis were given to them.
