【Abstract】 The visual system of the rabbit is somewhat different from that of the cat inboth anatomy and physiological properties. The present paper is intendedto review the latest progress in the study of the neuronal circuitry of the lateralgeniculate nucleus of the rabbit, with special reference to the study of structure andfunction of the recurrent inhibitory circuit. Results from studies of the visualsystem would also reveal the complicated correlation between the thalamus and thecerebral cortex.更多还原
