拱坝整体地质力学模型破坏试验研究

【摘要】 本文介绍了国内某大型双曲薄拱坝的整体地质力学模型破坏试验,此次试验采用了严格地模拟岩体的技术。比较全面地反映了岩体的力学特性并采用了国内最大比尺。本次试验比较详尽地观测了大坝及坝肩的变形破坏机制。从而为设计提供了安全度及大坝承载能力的依据。这是以往地力学模型所难以做到的。

【Abstract】 In this paper an integral geomechanical model test for an arch dam is described. The model of 1/100 is the largest of its scale in China. The arch dam is founded on a fondation with complex geological conditions. The failure mechanism; stability factors and the interaction between the arch dam and the abutments have been studied in the model;reproducing the rock joints, faults and weak rock in situ. The model was made of about 25000 gypsum heavy blocks; which were glued together according to the mechanical principle of similitude. Based on this principle the behaviors of model conformed to prototype strictly in proportion.The model tests have shown that the right abutment with weak faults and unfavorable joints underwent a larger deformation than the left abutment. A crack appeared at the dem heel at early loading. With increasing load some joints propagated along the intermediate principal stress trajectories of cantilever elements. Finally; the dam collapsed and rock slide occurred in the rock abutments.The mechanism of interaction between the dam and foundation has been closely observed in this model test and the safety factor is more reasonably determined.
