【Abstract】 Based on the documents of the Ninth Committee of Forestry of theFood and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and of theexperiences of the previous meetings, this paper analyzes the holisticstrategy for global forestry development as pushed forward by FAO andvarious other international organizations as a result of many years’richexperiences. Discussion is focused on the long-term development strategyfor global forestry, Tropical Forestry Action Plan which has been givenmuch impetus to, new policy viewpoints for overall development of for-estry, international coorperation in forestry, government efforts in thecoordination of developmental policies, exchange of information, consu-ltancy, publication and training programmes.更多还原
