【Abstract】 A SY strain of mousepox virus was isolated from suspected mouse colonies during ah outbreak of mousepox virus infection. The virus produced typical lesions on the chorioallantoio membrane of embryonated chicken eggs and formation of cyto-pathogenic multinuolear giant cells on mouse embryo fibroblasts. Typical poxvirus was seen under the electron microscope and immunoenzyme assays showed that they were antigenically related to the vaccinia virus.更多还原
