【Abstract】 Physcion, emodin, daucosterol, β-sitosterol, stearic acid, vanillic acid (Ⅰ), protocatechuric acid (Ⅱ), chrysophanol (Ⅲ) and a new substance, p-hydroxyphenyl-ethanol p-coumarate (Ⅳ), were isolated from the ethereal extract of S. cuneata.
