【Abstract】 A method for the determination of uranium and thorium in manganese nodule samples by solvent extraction,anion-exchange separation and electro-deposition, has been developed. The method has been used succesfully for the determination of growth rates of manganese nodules from Northern Central Pacific. Growth rates which we’re determined by 230Thex method for three manganese nodules from two stations were 2.9, 4.3 and 1.9mm/106a, respectively.The results are in reasonably good agreement with those obtained in other nodules by other investigators.更多还原
