【Abstract】 The endocrine cells of pyloric region of Phalacrocorax carbo h- ave been studied by immunohistochemical method.Gastrin-,somatostat- in-,serotonin-,avian pancreatic polypeptide- and neurotensin-cells are identified in this region. The density and kinds of the endocrine cells are obviously higher in Phalacrocorax carbo than in birds eatting grain and omnivorous bi- rds,in addition,the length of the pyloric region is three or four times as much as birds eatting grain and omnivorous birds.These character- istics are may be a selection adaptting to its organisms’ habits in carn- ivorou s birds.更多还原
