【Abstract】 practical experience showed that floor control was closely related with roof control in coal face with soft or fairly soft floor. Evident results were obtained in using DDZ-1 type single props "with large base together with single hydraulic props in a coal face with soft floor in Zhangjialou mine, Xuzhou Mining Administration.1. As compared with props having conventional base, the average setting load of prop increased by 67%, and the yield load doubled. The amount of convergence and floor penetration reduced by 46% and 78% respectively. Rigidity of support system was also improved.2. As compared with props having conventional base, not only timber consumption, but also support density can be reduced.3. As compared with props having conventional base, no penetration or little penetration was found. Labour intensity was greatly lightened. Time for withdrawal of props reduced. And labour efficiency was raised.更多还原
