【Abstract】 Most of the female cones of Picea koriensis are born in the leaders. The female strobile on the 3rd—5th (8th) verticillate branches generally couldprovide the information about 80% of the seed yield of the whole tree.3rd—5th(8tk) verticillate branches were defined as the information branchThe calculation of the female strobile could be predicted the seed yield ofthe whole tree. The number of the female strobile in the half of crown closely relatedto that of all of crown so that the following equation was founded. y=0.0275+1.8541x. The measuring the value of x (the numders of femalestrobile in the half of crown) could predict the value of y (the yield ofcone of the whole tree). In the planted forest of korean spruce of the same age, the grenter ofthe D. B. H of the tree is, the more the percentage of numbers of bearingcone of tree and the seed yield of the whole tree. The seed yield of forestwas predicted by means of the method of average standard tree, Thir me-thod is more simple, convenient, feasible and accurate.更多还原
