【Abstract】 Through the dissection of J-80B hammer’s piston, it was shown that T8A steel couldn’t form "shell structure" as its good hardenability characteristics. So it is unsuitable for making hammer piston in small diameter. The authers suggest that T10V steel can be used and the martensitic mild steel can be tried instead of T8A steel additionally, efforts should be made to impove the internal bore-hole smoothness, control the quenched layer handness and depth and strengthen surface treatment so as to impove the piston service life.更多还原
