SOLVABILITY OF THE DIOPHANTINE EQUATION x~4+kx~2y~2+y~4=z~2
【摘要】 <正> In the note, we give a new criterion on the solvability of the equation x~4+kx~2y~2+y~4= z~2, xy≠0, (1) which has played an important role in the early history of quartic Diophantine equations, and present a formula of a particular solution.
