【Abstract】 The cells of Brevibacterium flavum were pretreated with 0. 05 units per ml of penicillin during the early phase of exponential growth for 2 hours, and then treated with 150 μg/ml of lysozyme for 8 hours. The rate of protoplasts formation was higher than 80%/ On the plate of complete hypertonic medium containing 0.25 M of sodium succinate and 0.25 M of sucrose, the regeneration rate of protoplasts can be higher than 50%. Experimental results obtained are found to be 67% higher than those reported abroad and 150% higher than those reported in China.更多还原
