【Abstract】 The adoption of the statistical dimensional tolerance in practice can improve the quality of products and yield economic benefit.TO exploit the functions of the statistical dimensional tolerance, the probability distribution of actual dimensions must be under control and certain requirements must be made on the distribution. The control methods should be feasible in practice and include;(a) controlling the frequency of the border area or centre area; (b) controlling the variation range of x and σ.The necessity and feasibility of the adoption of the statistical tolerance are also discussed. The work reported is a part of preliminary investigation in connection with the preparatipn of Chinese national standard on statistical tolerance.更多还原
