【Abstract】 The principle of control of water wave generator with an Apple-Ⅱ type microcomputer in an experimental tank of ship model is described and the design method for open-loop variable speed system with a power stepmotor is given.The increment ΔHi of positional function (cosine function) of plunger iscalculated by broken-line approximation and the average speed vav.t(= ΔHi/Δt) andfrequency fi(= Vav.i/δ) of the input pulses of system can then be found. Theabove continuous functions are converted into frequencies of control pulse by the microcomputer and special interface. In this system, speed is controlled accord ing to sine function in time by programming.Specific features of the control system, such as the absence of sensors for feedback, are required. Accurate and smooth positioning, simplicity of speed control and ease of synchronizing the motion of individual plungers can also be seen.更多还原
