【Abstract】 SC 1001A is a new sedative, hypnoticand anti-epileptic drug. It has been used inclinical tests. In order to study its dosagedesign and pharmacokinetics, it is necessaryto develop a method for accurate determi-nation of SC1001A concentration in blood. After careful study of the chromatographicconditions, a specific reversed-phase highperformance liquid chromatography methodis proposed.SC1001A and its metabolites canbe separated with methanol and water(70:30), in Zorbax-C18 column and de-tected by UV detector at 266 nm.
