【Abstract】 The objective of this study was to evaluate the caries preventive effects of fluorideiontophoresis and conventional topical application method with sodium fluoride solution.The clinical observation of 150 children’s permanent teeth show that the effect of preve-ntion of caries with fluoride iontophoresis is superior to that of the conventional topicalapplication method(P<0.01).The fluoride analysis of the enamel and SEM observation of the enamel surface indi-cate that the fluoride content in the enamel is much higher when treated by fluoride io-ntophoresis than that by topical application(P<0.01),and the surface structure is quitedifferent from each other.更多还原
