【Abstract】 This paper makes an approach to the earthquake proof properties of float- ing foundation. It approaches from various angles: from foundation rigidity; from bearing capacity against total seismic shear; and from foundation base slip damping effect. It is concluded that aseismatic capacity of floating founda- tion is trusted and merits attention. Some proposals for strengthening aseismatic capacity of floating foundation are presented.更多还原
