【Abstract】 Multiphasic indexes were used in systematic analysis of vegetative nervous function of patients with "liver yang rising" (LYR). 85 patients (88.6%) were exhibited disorders of autonomic nervous system, whereas only 3 out of 38 cases (7.9%) in the control group. Hyperfunction of sympathetic nerves was the dominant manifestation of patients with "L Y R. " which differed from "Yin Xu Yang Kang" (阴虚阳亢 Yin defciency and Yang excess) and Gan-Shen Yin Xu(肝肾阴虚 Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency).After the treatment by the traditional Chinese medicine, there was obvious improvement of the vegetative nervous function which had positive correlation with clinical effects. It is suggested that the alternation of vegetative nervous function may be one of the important index in differentiation of symptom-complexes (辨证) and evaluation of the curative effects in the "L Y R" symdrome.更多还原
