【Abstract】 A simple character recognition system described in this paper consists of a periodically spaced trasmitting pinhole array mask without the aid of any lens. Its basic theory is presented, and the experimental results of its application to Latin letters and Chinese characters are shown. Finally,in comparison with the system using Vander Lugt matched filter, the advantages and disadvantages of this system are discussed.更多还原
