【Abstract】 In this paper,the method of variational calculus is used to investigatethe pattern of the earth sliding sarface and the safety factor of stability.It has been proved that there is no contradiction between the curve sliding surface and the broken-line Sliding Surface and one can change into the other under certain conditions.Examples of calculation show that obtained with the variational calculus method are reasonable.更多还原
