HIPS聚合釜剪切速率的探讨
A STUDY ON SHEAR RATE OF HIPS IN THE POLYMERIZATION REACTOR
【摘要】 高抗冲聚苯乙烯(HIPS)聚合釜的剪切速率(?)对相转变影响很大,而相转变又直接影响产品质量。本工作采用两种方法分别计算了HIPS聚合釜中的(?)min值,即用Magmusson法先求出平均剪切速率常数(Ks),再用实验求得开始发生相转变时的最小搅拌速率(nmin),然后通过Ks和n计算出(?)min值,利用R-Ⅱ型旋转粘度计直接测定HIPS预聚合过程的平均(?)值及其发生相转变所需要的(?)min值。用实验考察了两种计算值的可靠性:Magmusson法求得的(?)min值偏高;利用相转变过程直接求取(?)min值则比较符合聚合釜的实际情况。
【Abstract】 The shear rate ( 7 ) of high impact polystyrene(HIPS) in polymerization reactor has a great effect on phase inversion, and which is closely related aveto the quality of product.This paper includes the measurements of rage shear rate constant ( Ks ) in terms of Magmusson method, the minimum stirring speed ( nnin) during phase inversion, and the method of calculation minimum shear rate (γmin ) by using of Ks and n. Futhermore, the required minimum shear rate (γmin ) at phase inversion and the average shear rate (γ) during HIPS prepolymerization measured by means ofR-Ⅱ type rotating cylinder viscometer are also proposed. The reliability of the results obtained by these two techniques were examed and diffe-rents between them were also analysed.
