The early response of intracavity afterloading treatment (group 1)36 cases was compared with that of radium treatment (group 2)36 cases in late cervical carcinoma. Early Cure rate was 77.8% in group 1 and 63.9% in group 2 (P<0.05). Obvious effectiveness in group 1 was 22.20%, while that in group 2 was 36. 1%. Group 1 had less complication than group 2.
