【Abstract】 The writers make use of the information gained from lithologioal characters, body fossils, sedimentary structure, trace fossil assembles and grains analysis to interpret the depositional environment in upper part of the lower Gao-Zhai tian group of Silurian, Wudang, Guiyang. It is considered to be a perfect tidal flat positional sequence: from lower tidal flat to middle tidal flat and upper tidal flat in proper order.
